Towing with Aluminess Bumpers

I have been looking at the rear Aluminess bumper so I can get my spare tire off the roof rack and I would also get the big storage box they offer. Does anyone tow a boat with this configuration and do you have any clearance issues, especially when turning, between the boat and the sotrage box or spare tire?

Also wondering if you can open the rear doors and swing the carriers out with the boat attached. Pictures would be great. Thank you.

No boat, but I tow a flat deck car hauler trailer with a Bronco on it. Plenty of clearance for my setup.

Not the best pic, but the closest I have at the moment.

Can you swing out the carriers and open the doors with the trailer attached?

One more question. How far out do the carriers swing? The doors will swing all the way past the side of the van, will the carriers do that as well?

Re: Towing with Aluminess Bumpers

I have the baja box and the box + the spare swing completely open allowing the van doors to hit the detent but if you are on the slightest angle the tire overpowers the door and closes it. BTW I have the 315/70R17's and the spare is so big there's no way I can fit a gas can in the provided space. If Sportsmobile had mentioned that I would have got the other box without the can space.
