Two Fantastic fans in on RB van?

I've searched the archives for any mention of folks installing 2 Fantastic fans within one van and there have been a few. They generally seem to have been done maybe later on in the life of the vehicle? We are still in the designing stage of our SMB - although our Ford Transit (RB) is sitting on the lot at SMB North, awaiting its turn. My question is whether it's a good idea to have a Fantastic fan in the back (over the couch) and another one in the front (near the shower)? Why or why not? Would the 2 fans circulate the air pretty well? Do you think SMB would do something like this? Thanks for any feedback.

had two fans prior to penthouse top. FANTASTIC on hot humid days. One blowing in and one blowing out.

Good to hear it worked for you! Is that photo showing the installation of the fans in the SMB facility? Which one of the fans do you think worked better for intake - front or back? Thanks!

The pic shows both fans at SMB-I when they were removing the roof for the penthouse installation.
Our seating area is near the rear so the rr bathroom one worked best on hot humid days for hitting us with moving air.

I'm the past SMB would not install anything through the PH roof, like fans or AC units. Are they allowing this now?

Our two fans were on the vans original metal roof. There has been several posts in several threads that SMB is against cutting holes in the penthouse roof.

I don't think they have an issue if the top is flat like on a Voyager type top. It's the ribbed tops they have had an issue with at least at the time of my build.

Re: Two Fantastic fans in on RB van?

I currently have a fantastic fan in the very rear of my EB van, I couldn't see the need for a 2 all you have to do is open the front windows a hair and turn the fan on and that's it.

Re: Two Fantastic fans in on RB van?

Technically two, but not quite what you're thinking- the EB over cab fan with PH is wonderful, the trick is to crack only one window. What is better is adding a box fan from fantastic- which can be in the window, or anywhere to assist with ventilation. Unfortunately the fantastic box fan I had was just 1/4" too big to store anywhere (e.g. under the 50 bed) so I passed it on (as it was passed on to me for the same reason!) and I need to replace it with a smaller model.

My Endless Breeze (aka Fantastic Fan) nestles perfectly in the space behind my driver's seat. If you want to sell yours, let me know. I wouldn't mind having two.
