I thought you said it was a diesel.. Which would mean 7.3 liter or 6.0 liter, both V8s.

Sorry, don't mean to be a pain, but if it's the 6.0 liter V8 diesel from 2004 onwards, then there are known preventative upgrades you might consider on the next one, a ton of known problems and fixes, class action lawsuits, and a whole wealth of information about it.

congrats on the purchase, but sorry to hear about the motor issues

if you do have a diesel and are looking for trustworthy poeple familar with diesels in our area, let me know. I have few recommendations.

Nice rig! Do not be too angry about the engine problems....after fixing it you will have a wonderfull van.
Is it a diesel or gas? I do not get it..

It's a 6.0L V8 Diesel. We are just frustrated. Looking forward to being able to actually use it. Looks like it's at least 3 weeks away which in the scheme of things isn't that far off.
