Wanted Sportsmobile Tour
We are new to the Sportsmobile world. We are not yet an owner but seriously researching and figuring out what we want. We are thinking of a RB but not sure yet. Is there anyone in the Boise area that would be willing to give us a tour of their SMB?

Re: Wanted Sportsmobile Tour
Welcome to the forum. There are a few Idaho members here, so someone will hopefully hook you up.
You only have one post here, and you're already a financial supporter of the forum.

Re: Wanted Sportsmobile Tour
Hi, not exactly in the Boise area, we're in Pocatello. We have a 2006 RB, 4x4 with a '50' layout. If you ever head in this direction send me a message and I can show you the YURT.

Re: Wanted Sportsmobile Tour
Herb, Thanks for the welcome! We are hopefully going to be a SMB owner soon.
Mike: We may take you up on your offer. Do you ever regret not getting an EB?

Re: Wanted Sportsmobile Tour
Give Sportsmobile a call. They gave me a number of people to call for a tour and none where on this wonderful forum.
Visit Wisconsin and I'll give you a tour.

Re: Wanted Sportsmobile Tour
Kelly and Becky, No regrets with the RB. The EB would provide 20" more floor and storage space but we haven't missed it. Haven't filled up the storage space in our RB yet. With the two of us we can easily get around in the '50' layout and do the things we need to do. We quite often carry kayaks and/or paddle boards on top, bikes on the back and always camera gear inside. With that being said, we haven't taken any extended trips for weeks at a time either. The additional storage for gear and clothes might come in handy if we were 'living' in it for longer periods of time. So far our longest trip was two weeks, but that included a wedding and other activities with family and we stayed in hotels so we were only camping for part of that time. For now our trips are primarily weekends to local places.
I can't speak for anyone else but the RB fits our needs and we are happy with our decision. Hope you find time to get to Pocatello (and we are home) so we can show you our SMB.
Mike and Kris

We did have one person here in Boise send us an email. We just looked at their 2wd SMB. A lot smaller than we had thought. Thanks for the invite to Wisconsin. Your SMB is beautiful!

Mike & Kris,
Thanks for your feedback. We just looked at a 2010 2wd RB "50" here in Boise. Put things into perspective for us. We think we like the RB. Now to find one and buy it before everyone else. These seem to sell very quickly.
