Weighed my Sportsmobile today

I weighed my Sportsmobile today at a TA in Vegas. it’s an ‘04 Ford E350 6.0L 4x4.

30 Gallon tank full of diesel.

Came in at 9,300 lbs.

It cost 11.50 to have it weighed.

excellent data point. Can you post some pics so we know what features/options you have?

We have a few weight stations outside of town that you just roll up to and your weight displays for free. We stop at them once and a while, but apparently I’ve never stopped with the motos on the back like I did last weekend. The number caught me off guard. We were 10,041 total. 03 eb cargo, 7.3, ccv fiberine poptop, no buildout, but have 3-3 person benches and a small rv table. Guessing I had about 30g of fuel and about 5g of water plus basic camping crap.

Fairly even front to back . How was the weighing procedure done?

Was that with you in it? Pretty balanced load.

EDIT: Heading out on an 11 day trip this afternoon. Researching it a little, it looks like a lot of Truck Stops have CAT Scales. Tomorrow as I pass through Lordsburg, NM with some time to spare, I think I'll pull in one of them and have the van weighed. Great idea, thanks.

This may provide some perspective...all in all, you're not too bad.
