Well now. The wife wants a.......

Ironically I was posting in that thread comparing some of the new vans with the E series.

Well the wife wants a transit. High roof with a bathroom (wet room). LOL.

By golly I am all for it. It would look great sitting next to the E-350.

Look like I really need to finish my build as another could be on the way.

I have given up trying to mix and match van requirements with my wife! She wants an indoor shower/bathroom both of which I think are a waste of space. She doesn't care about off road capabilities and is most scared on the real off road stuff. She likes the Hymer Aktiv van which is quite plush but can't go anywhere but good roads so total loser in my book. My solution? Buy the van I want, do Airbnb trips with her. Perfect!

I am gonna reconfigure my E series for now. Move the bed forward so the kids are right behind us. Put in a bathroom closet that can be used as a storage closet as well.

But we may get a Transit eventually. Saving my pennies and hopefully I can wrangle a Medium roof 148WB and stick a pop top on it.

Scroll down this page (column 3, row 4) and see the cassette toilet. Eric @ Van Haus Conversions made this such that the toilet is below a countertop. Lift the panels for privacy. Close it up and you have counter space. (Need to keep it clean though.) The cassette pulls out right at the slider and can't spill on the van floor. This one has an optional fresh water fill that the customer wanted.
