What kind of mounting strip is this?

Hi, all!

There are several of these mounting strips in our new-to-us van. One on each wheel well, three on the floor in the rear and another one on the front bumper.

Does anyone recognize them? What are they for?

I've tried to find them on Google, but no luck yet.

Thanks!

Dia

Those are cool. You can slide eyelets (or other things) anywhere you need them for tie down points. I should have put two long ones down the rear floor when I installed it.........future project.

Super modular and super useful, and almost always load-rated. Here's a popular manufacturer:

And here's a catalog of some of the attachments you can get:

I have a similar system from the Hi Lift jack company.

Interesting. The ones on the wheel wells and front (passenger side only?) bumper used for an awning or EZ-Up shelter style setup?

Can you post pics of the ones on the wheel wells?

I took similar one for my sandplates. They are very stabil. I made a combination with the awning brackets. So theese are now also bullet proof ;-)

Re: What kind of mounting strip is this?

I used them on my Nissan to mount the roof rack, tent etc and on a lot of other cars and they will definitly be incorporated into the van again.
