What makes a Sportsmobile?
So I see Sportsmobiles with PH tops, some with 4WD, some with both or just one of those options... and I assume some with neither, just converted interiors. At what point is a van a sports mobile? Once Sportsmobile does any work does a van become a SMB???

Re: What makes a Sportsmobile?
Sportsmobile may be a trio of companies, but I think it is also a state of mind, or even some sort of a Zen-like state of existence.
Only this state of existence costs more than a true Zen state...

Re: What makes a Sportsmobile?
It's like saying Coke for soda or pop in the South. At least as far as the forum goes, it's meant to be inclusive and not exclusive.
But no conversion vans. Yarg.

What makes a Sportsmobile?
Easy now. I started life as a conversion.

Re: What makes a Sportsmobile?
Hi;
What about a Ford Escort with a Sportsmobile 4x4 sticker on it?
Regards,

I suppose the technically correct answer is:
IF Sportsmobile put the sticker on, yes.
My answer is:
If you think it is a Sportsmobile, that's good enough for me.

Re: What makes a Sportsmobile?
I prefer the term "Giant metal tent on wheels". But then again I'm just a dirtbag, ground up home build.
