Been thinking about grabbing some new wheels for my much outdated stock '98 E150 conversion van wheels. My local Discount Tire suggested I grab these: https://www.discounttire.com/buy-wheels/unique-297#
Quoted me $468.69 out the door for four wheels, install, and caps.
Has anyone used these or heard of these? Any other recommendations?
If you like them get them. They are simply painted steel wheels. Not very strong or "unique" but they are inexpensive. Powder coated is nice but they can still get rusted.
Lots of people like steel wheels because they bend instead of breaking off road so you can bend them back, especially the lips. They are heavier than aluminum wheels, but will get the job done. Plus, on a van, who is really tracking an extra 50 pounds?
