we visited the folks in Texas a couple of weeks ago. They were very nice and seemed very flexible.

TX and IN changed their PH molds a couple of years ago to the smooth top. I suspect they have a different supplier than does SMBWest (makes sense since SMBWest and SMBTX/IN are separate companies)

Paul at SMB TX pointed out that one advantage of the smooth top is that they will now install a Fantastic fan in the PH. They would not do so in the ribbed top.
