I bought the mount plate from quadvan (John was super helpful). And put a 12000 warn on my 2013 E350 (had a shop do the install). The air intake temps were considerably higher after install in the summer, especially when idling, as was the transmission temp. Instead of low 190's (tranny, I think FWT3 on scangauge), they were in the low 200's, maybe up to 215 when towing 5000lbs on flat highway at 90 degrees with the gas v10. Not the end of the world, but if I lived in the mountains or towed a lot in the mountains, I'd have to think more about it. As-is, I'll live with it, and as John said (who doesn't run a scan gauge), will be blissfully ignorant of any added issues from the slightly higher temps.

PS My front bumper is completely stock (I have no room in the garage for any protrusion from stock), and I've got the curt front receiver, which I should point out also blocks a little airflow-- so it's the combined effect I'm describing)

That's really good info, thanks for sharing. I wonder if folks with aftermarket bumpers have noticed the same, or if you saw the increased temps because the winch was tucked up extra close being inside the stock bumper.
