Re: Yella Fella STOLEN...

How does someone locate a cell phone that is not being used?

Cell phones can be turned on remotely by the carrier at the request of law enforcement, but I don't believe it's possible, or of any use, if the cell phone battery is dead.

I think you should call the police and report it, and also contact the owner of the van** so she can pass the info on to her local law enforcement.

[Edit: ** Realized I have no idea how to do that, so I emailed Jonny @SMB to pass the word along. It would be great if some idiot is driving it around so they can get busted! ]

I sent off an e-mail with a link to this thread, to the e-mail address in the van owner's profile in this forum.

I received that e-mail but we sold Yellow Fella long time ago, so you might want to resend it to Joice.

What a terrible news! I love that van and I hope it finds its way back to its' rightful owner!

Sorry, I didn't realize that you had sold Yellow Fella.

We had to - we moved to Hong Kong in early 2008 and didn't think it was fair to YF to sit in garage and wait for our return in some unforeseen future...

Re: Yella Fella STOLEN...

The owner of the Yella Fella isn't on this list but on the Yahoo chat list. I copied your possible sighting to that list...
