Re: Yella Fella STOLEN...

The past owner of Yella Fella replied back to me:

"I actually saw a yellow one yesterday in Irvine, but it definitely was not Yella Fella. I have already resigned myself to the fact that it is long gone & after a period of mourning have moved on. I actually just returned from Denver with a used Earthroamer. While we loved the two SMBs we had even with one being bought back by Ford under the lemon law & then the last one being stolen , we decided it was time to move on. But thanks for the update & thinking about us."

Re: Yella Fella STOLEN...

I just saw a you tube video from a link from the Overland Expo 2010 with a section discussing Alan's personal sportsmobile. He mentioned Yellow Fellow was recovered?

Anyone have details?

Noticed that he has a GPS tracker in his own sportsmobile. That's the way to do it.

Here is the link:

Sounds like he says it has NOT been recovered. WHen we were at SMB west in May Alan talked us in to the GPS tracking for ours. Seems like cheap insurance.

Re: Yella Fella STOLEN...

I had the Ravelco installed last weekend, the installer was familar with Yella Fella situation. Maybe I've mentioned it before but when my passenger locked us out of the van one time (with the engine running of course) it only took 18 seconds for the tow truck driver to pop the door lock with a slim jim. What does it take to hotwire one? Another minute?
