Previously there was a T-connection that the rear heat hoses were connected to the front heating unit. I cut and pulled the rear heater hoses while being careful to catch the antifreeze and replaced the T-connection with a straight 5/8" connection pictured here to maintain the front heat (the 2 hoses with the 2 new hose clamps).
