| My first DIY van conversion in 1972 (1966 Ford Econoline). I'm not sure how safe that fork lift LPG tank and Jerry can of gas were on the roof rack. The gas gauge was broken so we stopped for gas every 100 mi or so. Our first trip was from Dayton Ohio, where I'd been stationed in the AF back home to California at Christmas time. This photo is from that trip. |
