Loud Fridge Compressor

The SMB I just got has a 4 c.f. Norcold fridge and the compressor is really loud. I'm just wondering if this is normal... you can feel the vibrations in the whole van. I timed the cycles too and on setting 3 it compresses for about 5-6 minutes and is silent for about 2, then compresses again.

Is all this normal?

I keep my fridge on 1 (no ice needed) which is cold enough for beer. I consider the fridge to be quite quiet, but a friend thought it was load when sleeping on the lower bed with his head next to the it. Then again, even a quiet fridge will sound loud at 2AM.

In my opinion, if it shakes the van, it's too loud.

Suggest pulling the fridge out and making sure nothing is rubbing on the coils or compressor itself. Ours had cabinetry hitting the coils that, when pulled away, much reduced the vibrations in the counters and van itself.
