Depending on the dates, love to join. The van will not have been converted. Hope it is still ok to tag along. Just dying to try it out and meet everyone. Thank you.

I can't make it that weekend, but I went ahead and scouted it out for you. Here is my trip report: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12621. Sorry to miss you and I hope to make the next one.

There is an alert on everytrail.com stating that tamarisk campground is closed until further notice.

I don't see the notice on the State's website so one of them has old information.

SteveInLa was there on 12/25. Probably outdated info. I'll call at the end of January and double check.

The 11 sites where they are building small cabins were closed. The ranger estimated they would be open again "some time in the new year" and will have a fee of $60 as opposed to the fee of $25 for a regular site. You should be able to make a reservation for a site by calling Reserve America at 1-800-444-7275 or online at reserveamerica.com.

Are there any other 2wd vans thinking of tagging along?
