I am helping my friend get the word out about MAX Multipurpose Tool. He and his dad run Forrest Tool.
I carry a MAX in my rig and it is very light and tough.

Have one identical to this, and one Govt Surplus one in all green.

Great equipment to have.

Yep, besides the shovel and axe, I find the pick is especially useful in rougher terrain (like a mini mattock) and the rake is nice for clearing pine needles around the camp fire.

Thank you for the replies gentlemen.

The MAX has become a standard spec component of nearly all of the US Armyís Light and Medium Tactical Vehicles, including AM Generalís HMMWV, Force Protectionís Buffalo, Textronís M1117 Security Vehicle, BAEís Caiman, General Dynamicsí LAV-25, and specíd for the upcoming JLTV.

The MAX is a seven-tools-in-one multipurpose solution for all long handle tool needs. The complete tool menu includes an Ax/Sledge, a Shovel, a Mattock, a Pick, a Broad Pick, and a heavy-duty reversible Rake and Hoe, all fitting into a compact kit with a combined weight of only 12.5 lbs! The entire kit is completely made in the USA.

The civilian version is the yellow handle and the OD is unfortunately military only. If we get enough interest we might be able to do a run of handles in a different color.

Interesting the OP went from third person in his initial post to first person when describing the company.

Commercial posts welcome here. When you/they are registered as same.

Thanks for offering this discount. I've been considering one of these tools for a long time, and finally decided to buy one. Can't wait to test it out!

Brian-Your Max is on the way! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about it.

You never did explain how you so quickly went from having a "friend" who was selling these to selling them yourself.

SCMatthew 06-05-2017 02:30 PM

Hello MorieSugg,
Nothing weird is going on. My buddy and his dad focus only on the government side of the business. They don't want to spend a bunch time marketing to civilians who buy one at a time.
I thought the MAX was a really great product and asked if I could try and see if I could drum up some business. They told me to knock myself out. I started an instagram page and a facebook page and tried to post pictures in the wild. I take it camping and talk to people about it and hand out fliers.
I bought an SMB and thought that this is the perfect group of people to share this with.
I am only doing this for fun. I have sold three in a year -- and one of them was to a friend of mine. I'm not getting rich selling the Max.
Here is their website: Maker of the MAX ™ multipurpose tool & the Safety Impact Wrench ™
They don't do any discounts.
I have contacted Admin to make sure that I am in the correct thread. Apologies for the vagueness of my original post. I genuinely believe in this product and think it is perfect for our vehicles.

Thanks for the explanation Matt.

Unfortunately, we've had some experiences here were people claimed no affiliation to products while 'endorsing' them, only to find out otherwise. That's why there's some sensitivity here. Glad you cleared things up.
