2004 Ford E350 Diesel 44 RB-50 $70K
Some of the prices seen out there are getting outrageous. I'm sure he's trying to recoup some of the engine replacement costs.

$70k isn't a terrible starting point for a diesel van with a new motor. He says "make me an offer," so I would assume he is at least somewhat reasonable on the price.

What would you say is fair? I would think anything between $50-60k depending on condition would be a fair deal for both parties, so he isn't tooooooo far out there.

$58k-62K is a fair price for this van IMHO

I agree that 50 to 60 is a fair price (in this economy). The van life craze does add the 10K to 15K delta (supply and demand). What do we think a rig like this would cost in a not so good economy with a fading van-life trend? What was old is new again and it won't stay that way forever.

So a van price based on a potential future down market? Oh yeah piece of cake. Let us check our crystal balls.....

With housing prices going up and up and up you might be waiting a long time for the converted van prices to come down. All ages of people live out of them these days. They aren't only for recreation....

One thing that might change is banks may not offer such easy loans on RVs soon. People are carrying a lot of debt.

Easy there sport! lol Just for the sake of conversation, that is all. Not trying to start an internet hazing :)

You are very right. Vans are not for recreational only use anymore..
Good point on the loans. Hadn't even considered that!

Lots of variables now and for the foreseeable future.

Yeah I'm a debbie downer I know....

Good point about the loans and financing. I don't know many people that have that kinda of money in cash unless they sold off some assets to downsize/do a life style change.

That price is right about perfect. and this is not at all a Good Economy.. WE have had far better. And it will not change the price of an E Series 4x4 . They are only going up in price.

TheWeezersDad 12-16-2019 05:24 AM

I actually believe the price isn’t bad.
Only the market really knows if it’s worth the sale price. It's totally between the seller and the buyer!

(I doubt I could build it for that price.)
