No.

Re: Nissan Sportsmobile
By no, do you mean - buy the Ford Sportsmobile and don't look back?

Nissan Sportsmobile
Look back all you want. The Nissan is hideous. Ford or Sprinter - can't imagine buyer's remorse looking at the Nissan. Just say'n...

Re: Nissan Sportsmobile
I like the Japanese reputation for reliability, not sure if the Nissan motors are in that category or not. The biggest downside I see to the Nissan chassis is space inefficiency. It is 3 feet longer than the Ford but has the same amount of length behind the front seats. :a6:

Re: Nissan Sportsmobile
Hopefully the American public says "No" and they redesign something like the Titan- something that "gets" the van scene.

All depends on what you are after and how much of a hurry you are in. If you want something modern, that is space and fuel efficient you might want to look at the new Ford Transit when it comes out. The smallest Sprinter is not that much bigger than a full-size Ford van either and warrants a look. But as has been stated, the new Nissan is a step backwards in design and efficient use of space. I have no idea what Nissan were thinking. The turning circle must rival the Exxon Valdez and the front overhang is longer than that of a '63 Galaxy. These are all big vehicles and to handicap them with poor design from the start is foolish. As old as the basic van design is, it works. |
Re: Nissan Sportsmobile
Thank you for that information. That's the kind of info a newby needs.
