Re: 2005 GMC Quigley 4x4

Re: Ford 2wd lift kit?

On a 2007 E350 passenger van, the override button only works up to 20mph. As long as I stay under 20, making turns is not a problem. Interstate ramps are the biggest problem.[/quote]

Wow. Sorry...

I read a post of your on another forum regarding your problems with lifting your van and the Advance Trac RSC. What solution did you come up with? Would you recommend finding a van without the A T...

Re: AP report: Drug gangs taking over US public lands

Legalize marijuana, tax it and use the procedes to shut down illegal immigration on the border. Many problems would be solved.

Re: WTB: Wheels and tires

Pardon my ignorance. I want to see if I under stand this. You can use a set of 16.5x8.5 H1 wheels on an E250 or E350 van. You can probably use a set of 255R70/16 tires on an unmodified 2wd. The...

Re: What wheels fit?

A good source for wheel information on 2wd van mods is www.thumpertalk.com (https://www.thumpertalk.com). Search "motovan". Thumper Talk is a motocross, 4 wheeler, etc group. Some prefer to...

Re: Advice on my layout...

Here's another idea. Instead of setting the bike(s) on the floor and trying to build storage above them, you could build a "shelf" or cabinet that sits on the floor and then put the bike(s) on top...

Re: 2005 Ford E350 Diesel Lifted

That is a motovan designed to take a few people and their motorcycles to the trailhead in style. The lift looks nice and will get them down some rough roads. When it gets real tough, it's time to...

Re: Advice on my layout...

Yes, indeed. There are a some advantages and disadvantages to a Sprinter van. Right now, I'm doing my research, saving some money and looking to test drive a Chevy, Ford, and Dodge van. I think...

Re: Advice on my layout...

I'm not a Sportsmobiler, yet. I'm just a lurking Sportmobilaphile dreaming of a 2WD mountain bike trailhead, weekender, roadtriping, daily commuting, dog friendly motovan. I agree with some that...

Re: Propane heater blamed in 2 deaths at RV park

It doesn't sound as if it was a typical RV setup. It appears the couple was in a cargo trailer with a portable propane heater. Still, with safety in mind, I think it seems cheap and easy to put in a...

Re: How much room in the back...

One set of handle bars is likely to be about 25" wide. Add another bike with as much overlap as you can get and you'll probably need 30" if you don't turn the handlebars. Turn the handlebars 90...
