Has anyone ever had a propane dealer say he couldn't fill your tank because the filler nozzle wouldn't fit in the opening? I've just had two dealers show me this - when they try to attach the nozzle...

I'm in Ohio. The van spent its life in Vermont and PA. I suspect big snows, road salt and neglect but it's still crazy. Mechanic said it looked more like a rough 25 years old.
