I even put a newer steering wheel with matching clock ring on a 2003 and got the extra buttons working

The Dakota Digital module will adapt my CTO signal to work on a gas tach, but that may be really stretching to mod my donor cluster that much more.

I got the transfer case installed in early December and have had no luck...

Called the folks at Dakota Digital. They recommended a SGI-100BT.
Ordered and opened SGI-100BT and call their tech support line.
SGI-100BT, and none of their other products will fix my tach.
