Thanks - you answered my question, the tray that the bed sits on is metal. I'll need to adjust my fix accordingly. Sportsmobile penthouse circa 2017-ish.

Thanks all - that's what I thought, not much room up top to stand around it and empty if it is in the center so I might abandon that addition.

I have a manual penthouse, preparing for total self-sustained camping with all the COVID closures. Need some extra space, so I want to put my yakima rocketbox on top. I have rails etc already...
