I stayed in SLC last summer with the SMB for vacation/work and I have 3 recommendations.
1- Stansbury Island- close to SLC but far enough away, small dirt road leading out the the island,...

Thanks! Ended up out on Stansbury Island and up one of the Willow Canyons outside of Grantsville. Skull Canyon seemed like a possibility as well for future trips.

Boondocking Salt Lake City
Does anyone have any recommendations for boondocking outside of SLC? I am west of downtown in Tooele and would like to stay down below the very low snow line.

Yep! That was me! I had boondocked out on 18 Rd but the wind was just too much for me to motivate for a morning ride so I was heading east. I did see 3 more SMBs on the drive home! White one parked...
