Oh yeah, forntunately Caltrans does not use salt in CA.

We visit the coast for sure but don't spend enough time there for problem rust. What you see is just what happens under every vehicle I ever owned out here in California. Certainly not a problem,...

Originally the van had a flat plate heat exchanger when new, but a cold -16 degree day in Bryce Utah split the exchanger. I had the exchanger removed and returned to original factory Ford...
