Re: is danhard AC louder than roof AC
I saw that AC set up and it looked pretty sweet. My issue is I like the idea of being able to run the aux. air with the top down if I just want to pull over for lunch and with the top down it should...

Re: Rooftop AC on penthouse top.
Thank you for the reply. I called Sportsmobile and they were adamant about not installing the AC on the top and the company that I was going to have do the job are not familiar with the tops so I got...

Re: is danhard AC louder than roof AC
Just wondering with the portable AC units if the 8000 btu's are able to cool down a van with the penthouse top? I'm also wondering if I went with a 10000 btu if a honda 2000 watt generator would put...

Re: Rooftop AC on penthouse top.
I gotta bump this as this is exactly what I am contemplating doing. Installing the polar club 9200 on my penthouse top. I found a shop that said they can do it, but I'm worried now since sportsmobile...

Re: Road Xpedition interior 12 volt van
Not really sure. What happened was I left the fan on and it eventually burned itself out. It looks like the controller melted so maybe that's all I need? Thanks for the links.

Road Xpedition interior 12 volt fan
Anyone know where I could pick up a new interior 12volt fan? I attached some pics. I was hoping for the same exact model as it will line up perfectly with the holes for the screws.
Much thanks

Re: Homemade "Skreenz"
Thank you for the replies. Was hesitant to start spraying my screens with Off. Like the thoughts on making some no seeum screens to attach around the standard mesh. Will pursue that route, but if...

Re: Homemade "Skreenz"
Dave I like your idea for the penthouse top. Especially with using the earth magnets to keep it in place. Here's another thought as my main concern is keeping the bugs away from the screen mesh:
I...

Re: Homemade "Skreenz"
Sorry to bring back an old thread, but this relates to my issue. Is it possible to use one of the skeater beater screens to cover a window on the penthouse top? I'm guessing not since the tops are...

Re: Fridge is not working on 110 AC hook up
Yeah I don't really understand my 110v set up. I bought my van used so wasn't involved with the electrical set up. It appears all my AC outlets as well as my microwave work fine with the inverter...

Re: Fridge is not working on 110 AC hook up
OK so I'm a bit of a nob and missed the obvious. I plugged my 12 volt inverter into an AC outlet in the van and that resolved my issue. I guess the fridge won't switch to AC unless the inverter is...

Re: Fridge is not working on 110 AC hook up
Thank you for the reply. From what I can tell it looks like the fridge is directly hard wired into the 12volt distribution panel. I do not see any power cable that goes from the fridge into a 110...

Ray,
I love your set up. In regards to draining the shower pan to the t section and on to the grey water tank is it simply gravity that makes this happen?
Thanks, Louie.
