Just an update, I did buy one from a junk yard going off what they told me I had. I had it delivered to a buddies repair shop and it was about 2 months before I could make it up there (100 miles or...

Re: HF OBDII Is it worth it?

This is the one I started out with and it works fine. I "upgraded" to a $20 bluetooth adapter and the torque app on my android phone for about $8 and it is a much better solution.

Re: Bed lining the side or rocker panels.

on mine, I didn't feather any thing. Just sprayed on 2 or 3 coats and pulled the (normal) tape. But the stuff isn't as thick as you would think, or at least not as thick as a commercial type bed...

Re: Accrete's 2010 Chevy Express AWD project

now you are making me wish I didn't swap out your style of grille and lights, for the composite grille and lights on my express van. I have also been following along on your build and have been...

Re: Express van rear locker

Ok, I ended up buying a used rear axle assembly from a junk yard. I am having it delivered to a buddy that owns a mechanic shop. I hope to get it installed next week or the following.

I did...

Re: Late Model Front End Conversion

it is more due to the age. For it to be in a junk yard, the vehicle most likely was pretty smashed up to not make it worth putting back on the road. And front ends are most likely to be the reason...

Re: Express van rear locker

Ok, one more question. Will an axle assembly from an extended van, fit on my regular wheel base van?

Thanks,

Re: Express van rear locker

Ok, next question. can I replace my semi-floating axle with a full floating axle? If so, should I? Would it be a dumb or smart thing to do?

Thanks

First time it happened I just turned on to an overpass and immediately went sideways. Second one I was at a stop light and couldn't climb up the 2% grade to cross the bridge. I just know my truck...

Re: Express van rear locker

I never did this yet, and yesterday we had a dusting of snow. I almost spun out twice crossing over overpass bridges. I am going to have to re-visit this and give something a try.

I have had them in my truck for 12 years here in MN, so I know where you are coming from. That being said, I have never had that problem, in all honesty, once the snow melts, you never have more...

Let us know...

Re: Monstaliner for penthouse?

To be honest, not good. It has started to peel off in a lot of areas and needs to be re-done. I am wishing I would have just gone with herculiner since I have had good luck with that in the past....
