Re: My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars

We jacked the front end up and moved the wheels and held the steering wheel tight and there wasn't any significant play in any of the components. And at the dealer they checked all that when they had...

Re: My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars

I took it to the dealer and the guy immediately said when he drove off that the ball joints were sticking. The steering wheel is supposed to return back towards center when you turn left or right and...

Ok drove the van today for the first time since posting this thread. I aired tires up to 72 lbs. drove the best yet. Was not all over the road. I am going to try 75-80 psi cold pressure(which the...

Re: My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars

You gotta remember, I roll around with hardly any weight. Its probably less than what a full passenger weighs with all the seats etc... It has brand new Pro Comp shocks with less than 10k miles on...

Re: My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars

I wouldn't call my problem the Death Wobble, its just not holding steady around 75 and up. I don't recall getting any wobble either from hitting pot holes either.

Re: My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars

I would have to say it did it with the OEM worn tires it had on it when I purchased it. Possibly improved. I will try driving with a higher pressure first and see how that goes. And I will get it on...

Re: My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars

Shocks have 10k miles on em. Alignment hasn't been checked, but is fine on a smooth road, no pulling any direction. Tire pressure around 65 psi, doesn't deflect on the pot holes with lower pressure....

My Ford E350 is all over the road over 70mph - sway bars???

Re: Adding a window in driver side

What all is needed for the install (seals etc...)? I'm sure the window doesn't come with everything right?

Adding a window in driver side

I want to add a small window on the driver side of the van behind the driver seat. One of the smaller seamless windows. I like this small one behind the large one. Does anyone know if it vents? Also...

Re: Suggestions on Gas or Diesel van w/built in generator

Well I swooped up a 2009 V8 5.4. I think I may do the economy tune eventually. I have chipped diesel trucks I have had. But never a gas. How much improvement did you get with your economy tune? I...

Re: Suggestions on Gas or Diesel van w/built in generator

If I were to get a V8 Gas model Ford van, how bad would that be? I stated above what my cargo will roughly be. It might be hard to find a cargo V10 vs a passenger V10 which seems to be plenty of...

Re: Suggestions on Gas or Diesel van w/built in generator

So are you referring to just the diesel generator, or van? I understand a diesel generator is big heavy and bulky.
