We sold our 2005 SMB E350...sad parting of the ways but happy we paid it forward as the work we did on the engine should provide the new owners years of trouble free travel. We sold based on three...

Good luck out there!

Re: 2005 E350 for sale

Being somewhat technologically illiterate, I think I found a way to get some pix on here.
First are pictures of the initial tear down by Elite Diesel. Can't remove the top as too complicated so they...

Re: 2005 E350 for sale

JoeH - you understand the issues with the 6.0! To ALL your questions (except the CAT back) the answer is YES. We did install new up-pipes with HD exhaust bellows. As to the "chip" - yes it stays with...

Re: 2005 E350 for sale

Many have written about '05's being around $55k with low...

Re: 6.0 liter tranny temp issues

Installed 1/2" hose - simply created a "loop" to help reduce TFT temp. The in tank should be part of the loop as none of that was changed. Awaiting the rain and cold to abate before I test the fan...

Re: 6.0 problems and all your issues

2005 E350 w/6.0 liter - lots of material on the engine all of which points to Fed's forcing Ford to address the emission issue with 7.3L (which has no issues except black smoke). We did EGR delete,...
