Rockbender, I hear you. Banks wrote that the test was done on a dually with 4.10. I guess figure 4x4 might drop a mpg or two, maybe they did the test with a manual trans?. Not sure what else I am...

Yes, they got 20+mpg. They only put out about 175hp, and diesels have a fairly rigid fuel curve as it relates to horsepower. If you look at the Banks web site, they quote 22mpg for stock naturally...

Nice circular logic on the price. Would be a cool van, though, if it could accommodate a Banks Sidewinder (actually pretty cool the way it is).
