Sorry. I haven't been on the board for a while. Chip guard is a product that is sprayed on the rocker panels, etc that will take more stone impact without chipping. I don't remember who makes it but...

Just a thought but have you thought about having those areas sprayed with chip guard? I had 3M film put on my van around the fender wells & rocker panels. The film protects everything from chipping...
