I recognize that I will lose some signal distance with a lower antenna. Have you used your enough to know how significant it is?

My comments were about the CB antenna that Jage has mounted on the opposite fender (drivers side) from the factory radio antenna. That is what I want to spec for our SMB, and want to see/hear more...

Does anyone have a CB Antenna mounted on the opposite fender from the factory radio antenna? ...and what antenna and mount?

We are having a CB installed but would prefer not to mount the antenna...
