Apparently not! Unless my system is faulty. I kinda like the manual separator the Jage suggests. Then you can tell what each system is doing.

That 'fix' with the breaker was NOT the solution. The breaker in question was for the air compressor. The ford electrical system just happened to kick in properly at about the time the...

GOT IT. It was the big breaker near the dual start batteries. The Ford service guy went to check the batteries, saw that thing was tripped, and when resetting it, all started to work well again.
