I have 2 porch lights one on each side. We rarely use them but when we do it is very nice to have! Sitting under awning at night playing cards or cleaning up camp. The LED attracts a lot less bugs. ...

I think they are putting these on new vans as standard now? I could be wrong. I got the link above from expedition portal and a thread on exterior lighting.
