I'd be afraid the vultures would rape my plastic owls. Their pretty big birds, a little bigger than an owl or wild turkey. I tend to think they would rip through the tape too. They have a big hook...

I have thought about a fixed top as an option but I don't know much about them. I really need the second bed...
