Thx Guys..had it towed another 100mi to a Ford dealer...will keep you posted on their diagnosis.

No codes..no check engine light...just lots of sooty black & grey smoke and loud knocking

Greetings All, on our way home from Moab, UT and climbing a pass on the westbound I-70 our tailpipe on our 2005 6.0 psd started spewing heavy black smoke....we limped another 180+ miles and it's now...
