I reversed my trip based on Dave's thread to be there at the peak. Started in San Diego up the coast to Morro Bay for a few days, stop at SMB then to Yosemite for three days, Mono Lake and down 395...

It was spectacular up there last weekend and I meet the guy who bought a SMB I was looking at on their site a month earlier. How small a world it is!
