Hmm, so it's generally the short front driveshaft that is making the noise? I guess they figure for as little as it's used, it's not worth making it work smoothly?

I never understood why a lot of trucks / SUVs make so much noise and vibration at 55-65 in 4x4. What are the manufacturers doing, saving a couple bucks by not machining the gears and parts as finely...
