Hey scatter, I'm very happy it all worked out for you. I had also tripped the impact switch, sorry I didn't mention that. Are you going to post some pics?

The gasket is rubber, it would not stay in place on the inside of the fender. One other way I could have done it was to have just glued 4 small pieces on the back side with epoxy, instead of folding...
