I use a moto jack rack. Really solid carrier and built like a tank. The ulitmate MX hauler is very similar and works well too.

The extension has a load rating of 400 pounds and my bike weighs about 280-290.

I use a hitch mounted moto jack rack carrier. The van has aluminess rear, spare and an aluminess cargo box. I need to use a 12 hitch extension to make the bike clear everything. But is works great...
