Not sure, but the lockers themselves are metal which uses air to engage them. Like any fresh machined moving parts in your diff, the pieces will probably produce metal shavings under use.

That's reverse Torx, or Torx head bolts. You can get the sockets at Sears... because SAE, Metric and regular...

I prefer a gasket with RTV blue on each side. Among other things it helps to keep it in place.
