Ditto. In Australia it is called Random Breath Testing or RBT. The inconvenience is minor.
I'd rather this than have my family killed by a drunk driver.

We were talking about this over lunch. It is pretty easy to invent probable cause "I smell weed" etc.

This stuff still happens, it hasn't gone away. And look, I don't want to come off anti-cop;...

There is one sheriff's deputy I work pretty closely with on a first name basis, I might ask him about the CPL database here (he has a laptop in his rig), to see if it is attached to my license plate...

They (before looking at my ID) said as I rolled up to the booth "which of you to has the concealed weapon permit?" and then "where is your gun?"

The detection part is correct, not enough time to respond. But the good Laser diffusers are supposed to represent your approaching speed a bit lower. So he would be unsure of the actual speed...

The K40's are crap. If you want to get a good laser jammer, Lidatek make the best units, not sure if they are still in business. They had two good models, and one bad model (LE20?)
