We stayed at Diamond Lake main campground last summer. It is about as far away from boondocking as you can get, and still be camping. The nicest camp spots out of the park are in the Rogue NF to...

I don't want to hijack the thread either but our travels will take us through Crater Lake this summer on our way to a ski camp on Hood. How's the boon docking just outside the park or are you better...
