I checked for fit using the Blue Ox 8" hitch extender that I used for my Yakima Holdup before I added the Aluminess bumper and box. It doesn't quite make it. You'd need a 10 or 12" extender to...

I can check for fit but I'm guessing with the box it's going to need a hitch extender.

Actually they're not a whole lot more expensive than the more inferior (and heavier) Yak and Thule hitch options. My Yak Holdup is rusted and sags to one side. The quality is lacking.

They really are. I have the Sherpa on my VW Golf. It's aluminum and well made. I like it because not only does it hold the bikes firmly for a hitch rack (little or no fore-aft sway) but it's also...
