Just to comment on my own comment but from what I've gleaned from the diesel forums is that the 05-up had an upgraded water pump compared to the early 6.0. Apparently the early 6.0 had all the water...

That sucks. Even with the plastic impeller blades you don't hear of too many water pump failures on the 6.0. Go figure?

Did you go OEM or find one like the BPD with aluminum blades. Diesesite...
