Yes, it's $20/mo with unlimited U.S. calls. I didn't ask for Baja, but last year when I made a call from there it was around $2/min. The only problem with this Globalstar plan is the satellite...

Inmarsat also has a pretty good rate going for emergency type plans.

Yeah I saw that same info Herb. But I called Globalstar four times to discuss the plan and they said no monthly or annual fees, just the $1.49/min. I don't see how they can make any money this way...

Just thot I'd throw out an update on the Sat phone I'm using. Globalstar raised the $10/mo rate I had to $35/mo. (This is with unlimited calls in the U.S.) They do have more satellites up, but there...
