Just tried & my skinny hands fit in the opening barely. I got within 4" or so of the bottom when my forearm got too wide & wouldn't go any further. I couldn't touch the bottom but could get a brush...

I just received a couple of these & am testing them out with some bleach water to disinfect them before we head out on the road in a couple of weeks. So far no leaks & they look to be decently made....
