I assume you have a Dana 60FF so the hole for the star wheel adjuster is on the PS down side of the bracking plate between the axle body. (see pic) on the DS it is upsidedown so on the upper side and...

What i miss in all that discussion is that nobody ask what tire size is used at the affected rigs. I also have the problem that my e-brake does not work well.
I guess an e-brake that works fine...
