I found an old pic in my archive. This is a door panal for an older model like we have.
If i had a chance to get this at a junkyard here in germany i would spend a lot of time.... :b7:

DIY glove box on the door panel

Since i bought my van i wished to have some more storage at the door.

I first take some angle-aluminium, plywood metal grit and glue to bring all in line.

Than i took some layers of fiberglass...
